Can Anona Pano connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
Yes, Anona Pano supports both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Why my camera cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network?
1. Check Wi-Fi Network
Ensure the Wi-Fi network is functioning: Verify if other devices (e.g., phone, computer) can connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Confirm network settings: The camera does not support WPA3 encryption. Ensure the router's Wi-Fi uses WPA2 or WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode.
Verify Wi-Fi name and password: Reconfigure the network in the app if they have changed.
2. Check Camera Hardware
Ensure proper USB power supply: Verify the camera is connected to a 5V/2A power adapter, and check if the indicator light is on after plugging in the USB.
Restart the camera: Disconnect the power, wait a few seconds, and reconnect to see if the connection is restored.
3. Network Configuration Process
Ensure the phone Bluetooth is working: Turn on Bluetooth and keep the phone close to the camera during setup.
Use the app for configuration: Follow the Wi-Fi setup instructions in the app correctly.
Confirm Wi-Fi password: Double-check the Wi-Fi password, especially for case sensitivity and special characters.
Check for hidden SSID: Hidden SSIDs require manual addition.
4. Wi-Fi Signal Issues
Signal strength: Ensure the camera is within a good Wi-Fi signal range. If the signal is weak, move closer to the router.
Interference: Check for nearby devices (e.g., microwave, cordless phone) that may interfere with the Wi-Fi signal.
5. Firmware and App Updates
Firmware update: Check if the camera's firmware is up to date. If possible, connect to a mobile hotspot or another Wi-Fi to update firmware and fix potential connection issues.
App update: Ensure the app is the latest version.
6. Reset Camera
If the above steps fail, reset the camera to factory settings (press and hold the button for 5 seconds) and remove the device from the app. Rebind and configure the network as prompted by the app.
How to fix Wi-Fi disconnection or slow connection issues?
Check signal strength: Ensure the camera is at an appropriate distance from the router, avoiding obstructions like walls or appliances that may weaken the signal.
Change channel: If there is significant interference, change the Wi-Fi channel in the router settings.
Switch Wi-Fi band: The product supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Use 2.4GHz for longer distances from the router and 5GHz when there are many nearby wireless devices.
Restart network devices: Restart both the router and the camera.
What to do if the camera goes offline or loses connection?
Confirm power connection: Check if the power adapter and USB are securely connected and if the indicator light is on.
Check Wi-Fi status: Ensure the Wi-Fi network is functioning properly.
Test near router: Move the camera closer to the Wi-Fi router to test the connection.
FAQ-Storage
What types of SD cards are compatible with the Anona Pano camera?
Anona Pano supports 16-512 GB SD cards with C10/U1/V10 or higher ratings. It is recommended to use Anona SD cards to avoid data loss due to incompatible cards.
How to format an SD card, and what to do if formatting fails?
Format the SD card in the camera's homepage under Storage Management > SD Card.
Formatting will erase all data on the SD card, so back up important data beforehand. If formatting fails, it may be due to excessive accumulated data causing errors. Try inserting the SD card into a computer to check if data can be detected, clear the data, and reformat, or try a different SD card.
What to do if the SD card cannot be fullyinserted after multiple insertions and removals?
If the SD card is not inserted fully, remove it and reinsert it properly.
Why does my SD card's capacity differ from its actual capacity?
This is normal due to differences in how manufacturers and devices calculate storage (decimal vs. binary) and reserved space for system operations. For example, a 32 GB card may show ~29.8 GB. Use a reputable SD card to ensure reliability.
The SD card is shown as inserted, but storage management is empty. What should l do?
This may be due to an SD card reading failure. Please try reinserting the SD card or restarting the camera.
